Yesterday we hosted USAID Head of Mission, Nancy J. Eslick, and a number of USAID Cambodia staff to visit the FCF | REACT projects implemented by Cambodian Children’s Trust. We met with Sinet who previously lived in an orphanage, and is passionate about ensuring other children are not placed in orphanages. She is leading an exciting new group that provides peer support and skill development to children and young people who have left orphanages. We also met with a household who has received support to start a mushroom farm, to help recover from income losses due to COVID, and enable their child to continue with their education. Thanks to USAID and the Cambodian government for their continued support to enable this important work!
