Why become a Family Care First member?
If you are an organization working to support children to live in safe, nurturing family based care in Cambodia and you are interested to collaborate with a wide range of other like-minded organisations to improve your impact, then you should apply to join FCF.
You will have the opportunity to learn from other organizations who have faced, and sometimes overcome, similar challenges. You will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience to benefit other children throughout Cambodia.
You will be able to contribute your ideas about the most pressing topics to be addressed, and funded, to strengthen our support to enable children to live in safe, nurturing families.
Family Care First also provides a range of other opportunities to strengthen your organization and a range of capacity strengthening workshops are available – from child protection to communications, finance to M&E and more.
Application Process
- The organization sends an email to FCF staff (fcf-react@savethechildren.org) and confirm their interest to become a FCF member.
- FCF staff sends the Expression of Interest (EoI) form to the interested organization and informs that a FCF technical staff will conduct a visit to their organization.
- The assigned FCF technical specialist conducts a meeting with the organization to provide a brief induction about FCF project.
- The organization submits their Expression of Interest (EoI) to FCF assigned staff.
- FCF assigned staff shares the EoI to relevant members that volunteered to review.
- The potential organization has to prepare their presentation to the Thematic Sub-Group (TSG) members during a TSG meeting. The FCF specialist will provide support in preparing the presentation.
- Family Care First members provide feedback as soon as possible whether they agree of this new membership.
- If agree by Family Care First members, the organization will sign membership agreement with Family Care First.
