What IOM is doing?
IOM acts with its partners in the national and international community to:

- Advance understanding of migration issues.
- Encourage social and economic development through migration.
- Uphold the human dignity and well-being of migrants.
Action with Family Care First (FCF)
IOM is working on a research on the Migration and Its Impacts on Cambodian Children and Families (MICCAF). The overall aim of the
research is to provide the government of Cambodia with an evidence base to inform policy interventions related to vulnerabilities and strengths related to migration and those left behind. To date, total of 1,458 households were interviewed for the quantitative research and at least 37 households and 36 RCIs were involved in the qualitative research. A full report is planned to be shared by end of January 2019.
IOM was funded by Family Care First between February 2017 to August 2018 on Alternative Care Panel. The project aims at delivering and facilitating access to appropriate alternative care options for children deprived of parental care.
