Phirum’s husband had a serious traffic accident, resulting in him being unable to work. This meant that she was the sole income earner for her family. Phirum was worried about her ability to provide for her chilldren and decided to seek advice from her village chief. The chief referred Phirum to Children In Families who have been able to support her daughters to stay with their parents.
